On the evening of November 6, 2003, five young, courageous, & intelligent women from California State University, Monterey Bay came together with a common purpose & desire for sisterhood. The founding sisters believing in the seven pillars of strength: Scholarship, Leadership, Friendship, Integrity, Honesty, Loyalty, & Unity; which today are the foundations of Delta Omega Rho Multicultural Sorority, felt it necessary to incorporate these fundamentals into a solid foundation for success.

Delta Omega Rho strives to build up the characteristics of our members through academics and advancement in education, as well as build leadership skills; promote pride within each member and within the organization; and forge everlasting relationships among all sisters. We’ve established ourselves to service the needs of our members, our local community, our philanthropic partners, and the university.
